Marcilio Haddad Andrino was born in Santos, Brazil in 1973, and graduated with a PhD from the University UNICAMP in mechanical engineering.
In 1998, he left Santos to begin his academic career in Campinas, becoming a teacher and then professor in 2004 and 2007, respectively. In the same year, he was given the title Researcher in Industrial Property at the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI).
From Campinas he was transferred to Rio de Janeiro, where he currently lives.
In 2008, he married Fernanda Rocha Andrino, with whom he has two children, born in February of 2010 and August of 2012.
