Amorth Gabriele

Born into a religious family linked to Catholic Action, he was a member of FUCI. After graduating in law, he joined the Society of Saint Paul and was ordained a priest in 1954. He has published many articles in the Catholic magazine “Famiglia Cristiana”. Passionate about Mariology, he was for many years editor of the monthly magazine “Mother of God”. He is a member of the Pontifical International Marian Academy. Since 1986 he has been exorcist in the Diocese of Rome by mandate of Cardinal Vicar Ugo Poletti. In 1990 he founded the International Association of Exorcists, of which he was president until 2000. He is currently its honorary president.
