Albini Martina

Martina Albini is the Coordinator of the WeWorld Study Center, an Italian humanitarian organization active in over 20 countries. In her role, she mainly focuses on social research, with particular attention to gender equality, human rights, sexual and reproductive health, and the prevention of gender-based violence. She designs and coordinates studies, translating findings into concrete recommendations for policies and programs, and provides methodological support to offices in the countries where the organization operates, helping to strengthen their research capacity. She has overseen the production of more than 40 publications at national and international level.

In addition to her research activities, she serves as the focal point for gender issues and as a spokesperson for WeWorld, working to ensure that a gender perspective is mainstreamed across the organization and to effectively communicate its mission to a broader audience.

In the past, she worked in the publishing sector and within the protection system for survivors of human trafficking.
