Abodi Andrea

Andrea Abodi is the Minister for Sport and Youth in the Meloni government. A graduate of LUISS University in economics and business, he specialises in industrial sports management and the development of sports marketing activities. He began his managerial career in 1987 and was president of the Lega Nazionale Professionisti Serie B (Italian National Professional Football League) and federal councillor of the FIGC (Italian Football Federation) from 20 July 2010 to 6 March 2017. On 16 October 2017, he was appointed President of the Institute for Sports Credit. On 22 October 2022, he was sworn in by the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella.
