The six finalists of the fifth edition of the Meeting Music Contest 2025 have been announced, the music contest promoted by the Meeting for Friendship Among Peoples and MEI – Meeting of Independent Labels of Faenza, with the support of the Emilia-Romagna Region and the patronage of the Municipality of Rimini.

After a careful selection among more than 300 applications, the six emerging artists who will perform on August 26, 2025 on the Pool Stage at Rimini Fiera, during the 46th edition of the Meeting, are:

DAVIDE AMATI – Guitarist and singer-songwriter born in Rome in 1998 and raised in Santarcangelo di Romagna. He debuted in 2025 with his self-titled first album, a manifesto of artistic rebellion that challenges musical conventions. He began playing the guitar at eight and won a scholarship at Mogol’s CET at the age of sixteen.

DIEGO CASADEI – Singer-songwriter from Morciano di Romagna. His style blends jazz manouche, bossa nova and 1960s Italian pop into a sound that is vaguely retro and out of time, favouring an authentic and direct narrative with a hermetic style.

LORENZO LEPORE – An artist whose music is rooted in soul and shaped by a path filled with milestones. In 2021 he won the “Best Lyrics” award at Musicultura with Futuro, in 2022 the Amnesty - Voci per la libertà award, and in 2023 the Lauzi, Ciampi, and Botteghe d’autore prizes.

TRILUSSA – The stage name of Marco Fucci, born in Rome. A pop/folk singer-songwriter whose music grows out of a love for the guitar and the Italian songwriting tradition. After the success of his first singles, he launched his artistic journey with Honiro Label and Understand.

UNADASOLA – A duo composed of Arianna Lorenzi, classically trained singer, and Francesco Tommasi, jazz guitarist. The project was born from the need to tell their stories through music and words, and won the Ernesto de Pascale Award at the Controradio Rock Contest.

The six finalists interpreted the theme of Meeting 2025 “In the desert places we will build with new bricks” through original songs that explore the challenge of building something new and lasting in today’s world, accompanied by covers reinterpreted in their own unique style.

The honorary jury, composed of Cristiano Godano (singer and leader of Marlene Kuntz) and Casadilego (winner of X Factor 2020), together with music industry experts and the coordinators Giordano Sangiorgi (MEI) and Otello Cenci (Meeting), will evaluate the performances and declare the winner.

The winner will receive a prize package including: a performance at MEI 2025 (October 3-5 in Faenza), recording of a single at Lotostudio in Ravenna, digital distribution via MEIDigital, press office support from L’Altoparlante, and ongoing social promotion.

“We are thrilled to present these six emerging talents representing the new generation of Italian music,” said Otello Cenci, Head of Performances for the Meeting. “Their original songs creatively and authentically interpret this year’s Meeting theme, showing how young people are the first to build with new bricks. From this perspective, the Contest proves once again to be a simple and direct way to engage young people, encouraging them to unleash their creativity and deep sensitivity on universal themes that speak to the heart of contemporary humanity.”

“The Meeting Music Contest once again proves to be a crucial launch pad for new talents,” added Giordano Sangiorgi, founder of MEI. “These six artists join the over one thousand contestants who have participated in past editions, continuing the tradition of discovering and promoting new voices.”

The appointment is on August 26, 2025, at the Pool Stage of Rimini Fiera, where one of the six finalists will have the opportunity to start a concrete professional journey full of promise.
