Punto Cuore. Love and give dignity to those who suffer

Punto Cuore is an international charitable organization founded in 1990 by French priest Thierry de Roucy. Its mission is carried out through 35 “Punto Cuore” houses in 20 countries and through the International Center for a Culture of Compassion (ICCC) in the United States. What is Punto Cuore’s mission? To serve the poor, the suffering, and the most abandoned in the world; to offer friendship to those who are alone, approaching each person with an attitude of compassion; to generate and promote a culture of compassion that affirms the intrinsic value of every human being at all levels of society, through various initiatives in the fields of business, politics, science, and the arts. The exhibition at the 2009 Meeting presents forty paintings, along with photographs and texts from the field, introducing visitors to this unique experience of compassion and presence. This visual journey concludes with the screening of three videos. A small team of volunteers will be present to provide a personal encounter with the work of Punto Cuore.In collaboration with Jean-Marie Porté.
