Helen M. Barnes, Sister of the Congregation of St. Joseph, working with political refugees of all backgrounds living in the suburbs of Sydney; Irina B. Ratusinskaya, Ukrainian poet, former mathematics lecturer at the University of Kyiv; after serving four years in a Soviet labor camp for anti-Soviet propaganda, she was released and now lives in the West.
