Gemma Galgani: the extraordinary simplicity of God

Edited by Marina Ghilardi and Elisabetta Giussani of the “Sisters of Saint Gemma”, Paola Boncristiano, Giandomenico Mucci and Giuseppe Tognacci
Santa Gemma lived at the end of the 19th century, in a social and cultural environment marked by positivism that denied the experience of faith as manifestation of Mystery in history.
This young lady, who died at the age of 25, experimented the meeting with the Grace and is a Presence that does not reduce and deny the human in its wishes, but exalts it, and raises it to eternal beauty.
