Having interpreted in video one of the three narrators of the Miguel Manara, the 2009 Meeting opening show, Giancarlo Giannini this time returns live to Rimini for this extraordinary recital based on the poems of Giacomo Leopardi.
Che fai tu luna in ciel? / O moon why are you in the sky?, famous verse from the Canto notturno di un pastore errante dell’Asia/ Night Song Of A Wandering Asian Shepherd, is the title for an evening event where Giannini shall give his voice to a selection of passages from: Zibaldone, Operette Morali, I Canti. The readings shall be spaced and accompanied by pieces from Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Schubert and Paganini, played by the SchuberTrio. As a backdrop the evocative sceneries projected live by Alessandro La Motta. On stage also Laura Palmeri.
