Cesare Pavese
‘This exhibition is made up of 25 panels and divided into 2 sections. The first presents a collection of historical photographs illustrating the writer’s life, both public and private, from his youth to the first important encoun-ters, the presentation of the Strega Prize, up to his death. The second reconstructs the composition of some of Pa-vese’s most famous pages by means of manuscripts and notes in the author’s own handwriting. The exhibition, organized to mark the 40th anniversary of the writer’s death will attempt to take the visitor over the human and stylistic paths trodden by Pavese.’
