Todini Gianni

Gianni Todini, aged 59, from Rome, has been a professional journalist since 1995. He has been editor-in-chief of Askanews since 1 November 2021.

First at Asca, and following the merger with TM News, at Askanews, he has played a key role in the agency’s major development processes, particularly as head of thematic channels and in-depth reporting.

Since August 2018, as deputy editor-in-chief, he has been responsible for the organisation and multimedia and digital development of the editorial team.
An active member of journalists’ professional bodies, particularly the trade union and the INPGI, he also served as a foreign economic correspondent at Asca and coordinated the editorial team of the specialist news magazine Airpress.

He has also worked in institutional and corporate communications in Italy and Spain.
Over the years, he has received numerous awards and honours, both nationally and internationally, for his professional work.
