Ravagnan Luca

Luca Ravagnan, PhD and MBA, has been co-founder and CEO of WISE since 2011. WISE is a medtech company that develops thin, conformable neural electrodes for neuromonitoring, neuromodulation and brain-machine interfaces.

Drawing on his experience in basic and applied research in nanotechnology, he has developed and patented the company’s proprietary technology, Supersonic Technology, which integrates conductive layers into an ultra-thin, soft silicone film, producing stretchable electrodes that adhere perfectly to neural tissue. He has received numerous awards for research and innovation.

Since 2019, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Lombardy Life Sciences Cluster and, since 2020, an Endeavour Entrepreneur.

He holds a PhD in Physics and an Executive MBA from SDA Bocconi.
