Battistini Carlo

Carlo Battistini, born in Forlì in 1960 and now a resident of Cesena, holds a degree in Economics and Business from the University of Bologna. He began his career at the Forlì Chamber of Commerce (1984–85) and went on to work at Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna, where he was involved in economic research until 1991. From 1991 to 1996, he was deputy director of Confcooperative Forlì-Cesena and, from 1996 to 2004, general manager of Confcommercio Cesena. From 2003 to 2005, he was a member of the Executive Committee of the Forlì-Cesena Chamber of Commerce.

Between 2006 and 2008, he was head of the secretariat to the Deputy Minister for the Economy, Roberto Pinza, and in 2008 a member of SECIT. Since 2008, he has been a senior partner at Marco Polo Advisor Srl, which provides financial consultancy services to businesses. From 2009 to 2019, he served as Deputy Mayor of Cesena, with responsibility for the budget, municipal holdings, taxation, human resources and information systems. From 2010 to 2013, he acted as director and liquidator for companies within the Delta S.p.A. banking group under special administration.

He has been President of the Romagna Chamber of Commerce since 31 May 2022, where he promotes policies for economic development, innovation and business competitiveness.
