The exhibition was created through the collaboration of the Vatican Observatory, Johns Hopkins University, and the Space Telescope Science Institute, and is structured around twelve panels presenting, in large format, some of the most spectacular astronomical images captured by the Hubble and James Webb space telescopes, accompanied by commentary from the scientists responsible for the corresponding research programs.
The exhibition itinerary — enriched at Rimini by an immersive view of the sky and by real-time observations — celebrates both the sense of wonder and the growing scientific understanding of the universe: a tribute to that inexhaustible curiosity and creativity which drive humanity toward an indomitable striving for discovery.
