Federico Bonomi

Federico Bonomi (Pavia, 23 December 1996) is a political scientist and PhD researcher engaged in European studies, with a particular focus on economic integration and European Union defence policies. He is currently a PhD Candidate in Politics at Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome, where he conducts research on European integration, the governance of the Economic and Monetary Union, and EU parliamentary procedures.
He holds a degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Pavia, where he completed formative experiences at the Ghislieri College and the IUSS School of Advanced Studies in Pavia. He subsequently earned an MPhil in European Politics and Society from St Antony’s College, University of Oxford, focusing on the institutional dynamics of the European Union.
Between 2020 and 2023, he worked as a legislative adviser at the Italian Senate, contributing to legislative analysis, the drafting of legislative proposals, and the study of legislative processes.

In 2024, he co-founded Asimov AI, an innovative Italian startup that applies artificial intelligence technologies to legislative processes in order to improve the understanding and efficiency of parliamentary work. The company is engaged in the development of AI tools for regulatory analysis and automation and has participated in institutional innovation projects related to the responsible use of artificial intelligence.

Bonomi is the author of academic publications on European politics, parliamentary procedures, and economic governance, and actively participates in training programmes and research initiatives exploring the intersections between technology, law, and democracy.
