Maria Elena

Maria Elena Magrin is an Associate Professor of Legal Psychology at the Department of Psychology of the University of Milan–Bicocca and delegate of the Rector for the activities of the University’s Prison Campus.
Her teaching, research, and third-mission activities have for many years focused on the various aspects of criminal enforcement, both inside and outside prison settings, in close collaboration with local and national institutions and with organizations from the Third Sector.
She is a member of the Working Group on Persons Deprived of Personal Liberty of the National Third Sector Forum and of the group dedicated to Penitentiary Psychology within the Order of Psychologists of Lombardy.
Since 2020, she has served as an Honorary Judge at the Juvenile Court of Milan.
