Scelza Cristiana

Cristiana Scelza is President of Valore D, a business association that since 2009 has promoted gender balance and an inclusive culture within organizations, where she had previously served as Board Member.
Originally from Salerno, Scelza has a STEM background: she graduated with honors in Inorganic Chemistry and earned an EMBA from Kellogg School of Management and WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. She began her career at Pirelli Cavi in 1997, and in 2003 she joined Prysmian Group, supporting the implementation of new products and technologies across nearly 100 plants in 50 countries, further strengthening her international experience.
From 2014 to 2019, she served as SURF (Subsea Umbilical, Riser and Flowlines) Market Director, responsible for the production and sales of umbilical cables and flexible pipes for Brazil and other global markets. From 2019 to early 2023, she held the position of CEO of Prysmian Group Russia. In 2023, she was Country Manager of Prysmian Netherlands, leading a team of 700 people and managing over €500 million in sales. Since January 2024, she has been Executive Vice President Electrification.
Scelza is co-creator and project leader of Side by Side, Prysmian Group’s international diversity and inclusion project aimed at promoting a multicultural workplace and women’s participation at all company levels.
She is a member of La Carica delle 101 and CEO Factory by Girl Restart, initiatives dedicated to female leadership and mentoring. He is Executive Vice President Electrification at Prysmian.
