Rosier Christophe

Father Christophe Rosier is a French Catholic priest of the Diocese of Grenoble-Vienne, currently parish priest of Saint-Joseph Parish in Grenoble, one of the leading centres for youth ministry in this Alpine university city. His pastoral work focuses particularly on the evangelisation of young adults, spiritual formation and the dialogue between faith and contemporary society.

Ordained a priest for the Diocese of Grenoble-Vienne in 2011, after studying at the Pontifical Gregorian University, he has held various pastoral posts over the years in parishes in the Isère department, gaining experience in youth ministry, university pastoral care and ecclesial formation.

In 2018, he was appointed diocesan and regional chaplain to the Scouts et Guides de France for a three-year term, taking on responsibility for the educational and spiritual guidance of Catholic scouting in the region.

Since 2024, he has been parish priest of Saint-Joseph Parish in Grenoble, a parish dedicated in particular to the pastoral care of students and young professionals in the diocese. The community, which grew out of the ‘Isèreanybody?’ missionary project, is now regarded as a centre for evangelisation and ecclesial formation for young adults in the region.

In July 2025, the Bishop of Grenoble-Vienne also appointed him postulator for the cause of beatification and canonisation of the Servant of God Jean Gerin, a 19th-century French priest who died in the odour of sanctity. As part of this role, he was also entrusted with coordinating a diocesan working group on bioethical issues.
