Malosti Valter

Valter Malosti is a director, actor, and visual artist known for his multidisciplinary approach to the arts, combining tradition and experimentation. His productions have received acclaim and prestigious awards from the Italian critics. Malosti has directed works by composers such as Nyman, Tutino, Glass, Corghi, and Cage, often in premiere performances. He also directed Mozart’s “Le nozze di Figaro” for the Teatro Regio in Turin.
As an actor, Malosti worked closely with Luca Ronconi for nearly a decade. He portrayed Manfred in Schumann/Byron’s composition, conducted by Noseda. From 2010 to 2017, he served as the director of the Acting School at the Teatro Stabile in Turin. He was the director of the Fondazione Teatro Piemonte Europa in Turin (TPE) from 2018 until May 2021. In June 2021, he was appointed as the director of Emilia Romagna Teatro (ERT) Fondazione / Teatro Nazionale.
