Sandro De Luca

Sandro De Luca has been working in the field of international cooperation and programme management since the early 1990s. He has undertaken both long-term and short-term assignments in around 30 countries across Africa, Latin America, Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

Since 2002, he has worked at the headquarters of the Italian NGO CISP, where, amongst other roles, he served as Director of the Africa Regional Office, coordinating local offices and providing strategic and methodological guidance for the identification, design, implementation and evaluation of projects.
From July 2019 to June 2025, he was Director-General of CISP, where he currently holds the position of Vice-President.
Since May 2025, he has been President of the LINK 2007 NGO network.

He lectures on master’s and postgraduate courses in Italy and abroad on topics related to development cooperation and humanitarian action.
