Alessandro Angelini

Alessandro Angelini is Director of Visa Government Solutions for Italy, Portugal, Spain and Turkey.

Alessandro has commercial responsibility for relations with central governments, local authorities and public-sector companies governed by private law.
He has held senior management positions at leading telecommunications companies, including British Telecom, Oberthur Technologies and Vodafone Global Enterprise, where he served as Head of Global Strategic Accounts.

An expert in Business Development, Digital Marketing, CRM and Loyalty Management, he was Director of Business Development for Payback at American Express, subsequently Vice President Europe at Cloud4wi, a San Francisco-based start-up in the Big Data sector, and then Head of Partnerships and the ScontiPoste Loyalty Programme at PostePay S.p.A.

At Cassa Depositi e Prestiti from 2020 to 2022, he served as Director of two divisions: Management and Development of Relations with Public Administrations and Development of Large Infrastructure Clients.

Born in Rome in 1971, he holds a degree in Law from La Sapienza University of Rome and continued his studies at UCLA in Economics and Communication Studies.
