Giacometti Giulia

Head of Operations at Acea Acqua, where she coordinates the operational activities of Acea’s companies operating in the water sector, promoting efficiency, innovation and sustainability in the management of the Integrated Water Service.

An environmental civil engineer specialising in hydraulics, she graduated with honours from Roma Tre University and is a member of the Order of Engineers of the Province of Rome. She has over fifteen years’ experience in the planning, design and management of water and environmental infrastructure.

Throughout her career, she has held positions of increasing responsibility at Acea and, previously, at Aeroporti di Roma and leading engineering firms. She has developed extensive expertise in the management of water and sewerage networks, hydraulic modelling, leak reduction and the development of innovative solutions to enhance the resilience and sustainability of infrastructure.
