Carmen Alonso Sanchez

Carmen is an experienced executive with +25 years of experience in the technology and payments industry, a strategic leader with proven capabilities in team management and general leadership.

She leads the Go to Market Team in Europe and Humanitarian development funds for Visa Government Solutions at Visa. She has also served as Country Manager for Spain, Interim Country Manager for Turkey, and Head of Business Development for Southern Europe, among many other roles at Visa. She has also held senior positions at Banco Santander, MasterCard, and ServiRed.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Complutense University of Madrid and completed the PDG (General Management Program) at IESE Business School in 2017.
