Kinyua Henry

Henry Kinyua is a coffee sector strategist and agricultural policy specialist with over twenty-five years across Kenya and East Africa. He is National Programme Coordinator for the ACTS Programme at UNIDO, and serves as Advisor on Crops and Value Chains at Kenya’s President’s Economic Transformation Secretariat, having earlier built agriculture delivery machinery within Tanzania’s President’s Office.

A former Chairman of the New Kenya Planters Co-operative Union, where he led the rollout of the Coffee Cherry Advance Revolving Fund and reforms in coffee marketing transparency, and a former County Executive Committee Member for Agriculture in Nyeri, he publishes data-driven coffee market analysis through KilimoNews and also a mobile App that assists farmers to follow trade and transactions details at the Nairobi Coffee Exchange in Kenya
