Luigi Ceriani

A graduate in Education and Psychology, he is a psychotherapist and works primarily with adolescents, young people and families. For over thirty years, he has been involved in the training and professional development of teachers, educators and parents, collaborating with schools, training organisations and third-sector organisations on issues relating to education and the prevention of youth distress.

A former lecturer in Clinical and Developmental Psychology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Brescia, he now collaborates with the Faculty of Psychology at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan. He coordinates and leads projects on psychosocial prevention and the promotion of wellbeing in schools and local communities.

He is the author of numerous scientific articles and the books Genitori alla lavagna (Marietti 1820, 2005), Figli, rischi & villaggio globale (Ares, 2020) and Agio e disagio in età adolescenziale (Ares, 2024).

A mountaineer and National Climbing Instructor with FASI-CONI, he is married, has three children and lives in Milan.
