Brullo Davide

Davide Brullo (Milan, 8 February 1979) is a poet, writer, translator and journalist. He graduated in the History of Early Christianity from the University of Milan and made his debut as a poet at a very young age with *Annali* (2004), a work characterised by intense, visionary writing deeply rooted in biblical and classical tradition. Over the years, he has combined his work as a poet with that of a novelist, essayist and literary critic, contributing to national newspapers and magazines and founding the online cultural daily Pangea in 2017,

His best-known works include the novels Il lupo (2009), Rinuncio (2014), Pseudo-Paolo. Lettera di San Paolo Apostolo a San Pietro (2018), Un alfabeto nella neve (2018) and the volume Stroncature (2020). As a poet, he has published collections such as Annali, L’era del ferro and Gries, whilst as a translator he has distinguished himself for his translations of the Psalms and other texts from the Old Testament.

Brullo has received widespread critical acclaim for the originality of his linguistic and spiritual exploration.
