Gian Matteo Pedrelli

In 1993, Gian Matteo Pedrelli  graduated in Economics and Business from the University of Genoa. Prior to that, from 1991 to 1992, he worked in the ‘Export Management’ division of SICCMA FRANCE S.A. in Saint-Étienne.

From 1992 to 1995, he worked for SONOKO S.C.R.L. in Bologna in the ‘Large-Scale Retail’ sector and, from 1995 to 1996, for VASSILIAS S.A. in Athens, contributing to the development of a project in the consumer electronics sector. From 1996 to 1998, he worked at ELSAG BAILEY (Finmeccanica Group) in Genoa, overseeing the development of two major postal automation projects for Chile and South Korea respectively.

In 1998, he was one of the founding partners of the FOS Group, an innovative organisation operating in the digital technologies, research and innovation sector, and held the position of Chief Executive Officer; the company embarked on a significant path of growth and consolidation, culminating in its listing on the Euronext Growth Milan market of Borsa Italiana.

In 2012, he was elected Chairman of the IT Section of Confindustria Genova, a role he held until 2016, contributing to the development of the ICT sector and strengthening dialogue between businesses, institutions and the research community.In 2025, he spearheaded the strategic partnership between the FOS Group and the Audensiel Group, with the aim of accelerating their international growth, strengthening their technological capabilities and expanding their range of high value-added services in european markets.
