Luigina Mortari

Luigina Mortari is a Full Professor at the University of Verona, where she teaches the Philosophy of Care and heads the Melete Centre, which focuses on the ethics of care.

Her research is dedicated to establishing a solid theoretical foundation for the ethics of care and investigating its practical applications; she is also conducting research on the theme of the humanisation of care.

In 2021, she was appointed Chair of the Board of Directors of INDIRE, a position she held until 2022.
Her publications include:  La politica della cura (2021), Sull’etica della cura (2023), Sapienza Politica (2024), Le pratiche spirituali nei dialoghi socratici (2026).
