Marco Osnato

Marco Osnato was born in Belluno and has lived in Milan since his university days. A law graduate and entrepreneur, he has chaired the Finance Committee of the Chamber of Deputies since November 2022 and has been head of the Economy and Finance Department of Fratelli d’Italia since 2023.

He became involved in politics at the age of fifteen, joining the Fronte della Gioventù. In 2006, he was elected to the Milan City Council. In 2011, he was re-elected as a councillor on the Popolo della Libertà list. He was one of the founders of Fratelli d’Italia in Milan, led the party’s group on the City Council and became a member of the regional coordination committee. Following the founding congress in Fiuggi, Giorgia Meloni appointed him to the party’s National Executive.

In 2018, he was elected to Parliament and became a member of the Finance Committee. He was re-elected in 2022. Since 2023, he has chaired the Italy–Saudi Arabia Parliamentary Friendship Group.
