Alberto Pellai

Alberto Pellai is a doctor, a child and adolescent psychotherapist, a specialist in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine, and holds a PhD in Public Health. He is a researcher at the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Milan, where his work focuses on health education, health promotion and prevention in childhood and adolescence. In 2004, the Ministry of Health awarded him the Silver Medal of Merit in Public Health.

He is the author of numerous books aimed at children, teenagers, parents and teachers, many of which have become bestsellers and have been translated into more than fifteen languages. Among his most recent publications is  La vita ti aspetta. Scopri te stesso, conosci gli altri, vivi il mondo (Feltrinelli, 2026).

He contributes as a science communicator to various national publications and is an author and consultant on topics related to child development, adolescence, parenting and education. For several years, he has been editing the ‘Essere genitori’ column in Famiglia Cristiana. He also has a large following on social media, where he shares content dedicated to education and child development.
