Who we are
Simone Venturini

Born on 1 October 1987 in Marghera, a residential district within the most famous industrial hub on the mainland of the Municipality of Venice. He has always been involved in Catholic associations, the Scouts and voluntary work. He obtained his scientific baccalaureate at the Liceo Ugo Morin in Mestre and subsequently graduated in Law from the University of Padua with a thesis on Public Law and Administrative Law.
From 2010 to 2014, he served as group leader and city councillor for the Municipality of Venice. In 2015, after standing as the lead candidate on Mayor Brugnaro’s civic list, he became the most voted city councillor in the Municipality of Venice.
Since 2015, he has held the post of Councillor for Social Cohesion, Social Policies, Health Planning, Relations with the Voluntary Sector, Youth Policies, Local Economic Development, Infrastructure, Relations with the City Council, Coordination of Councillors, and Employment.
During his tenure as a city councillor and subsequently as a councillor, he has also held other advisory roles within ANCI and at the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies.
