Angelo Crespi

Angelo Crespi is Director-General of the Pinacoteca di Brera, the Braidense National Library, Palazzo Citterio and the Cenacolo Vinciano.

Since 2023, he has been a member of the Scientific Committee of the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia and, since 2019, of the Scientific Committee of Valore Italia – Social Enterprise / Botticino School of Restoration.

He has served on the Board of Directors of the Piccolo Teatro in Milan, the ADI Design Museo Foundation in Milan, the Triennale Milano holding company and SEA Handling. Formerly Chairman of the MAGA Museum in Gallarate (which he established with the Ministry of Culture and the Lombardy Region in 2009), Angelo Crespi has served as artistic adviser to the Consorzio della Reggia di Monza and as a member of the selection committee for the Italian Pavilion 2024, as well as Chairman and Director-General of the International Centre at Palazzo Te in in Mantua and as an adviser to the Minister for Cultural Heritage and Activities

He has contributed to publications including Libero, Il Giornale and Il Foglio. He was Editor-in-Chief of Il Domenicale and Il Giornale Off, as well as a columnist for Corriere della Sera.
