Enrico Cereda

Enrico Cereda is President of Confidi Systema, a financial institution that supports Italian small and medium-sized enterprises in their growth journey through the provision of direct financing, credit guarantees and financial advisory services.
He also serves as Senior Advisor at Klecha & Co., a private investment banking boutique specialising in the hi-tech sector.

Enrico Cereda has over 25 years of experience in the Information Technology world and has held leading roles within the American multinational IBM, including Chief Executive Officer and President from 2016 to 2023.
During his long career at IBM, he also took on international responsibilities at the company’s headquarters in New York and at its European headquarters in Madrid.

For seven years he was also Vice President of Assolombarda, first with responsibility for internationalisation and later for digitalisation, and he served on Confindustria’s General Council.

Finally, Enrico Cereda invests in innovative start-ups and works alongside private equity firms to support the growth of Italian mid-sized companies, both as an investor and as a board member.
