‘An exhibition dedicated to the works of young artists – under 40 years of age -invited by a group of professors of the Art History Institute of Milan’s Catholic University. Taking into account the different means of expression that distinguish the contemporary art world, the exhibition will have as its centre theme the “Portrait”, seen as a representation of the human body, buts also as a reflection on the topic of identity and the relationship between one’s self and others. The sections: ‘Portrait and Self-Portrait”, ‘Portrait as self-consciousness’, ‘Portrait as consciousness of others’, ‘Beyond appearances’, ‘The image of the face as the revelation of the self and its multiplicity’.’
