Figini Peschiera Marina

An ophthalmologist and mother of ten children, in 1986 she and her husband, Innocente Figini, together with her brother’s family – Erasmo and Serena – took in an HIV-positive child. It was the beginning of a ‘story of communion’, as inspired by Don Giussani. Today, the Cometa Association involves over 70 families open to the experience of foster care.
