At the Meeting they are known as “the ones from the Alcamo Bar”. Their origins, which are told in a video-exhibit, are fascinating. It will recount of a priest who built a bank for peasants, a doctor who invented the first food drive in 1867, an educator who built a dam with peasants and fishermen, and fought the mafia and poverty.
