Who we are
Scholz Bernhard

President of the Foundation for the Meeting for Friendship amongst Peoples since March 2020.
He is a management consultant, specialising in management training for businesses and social organisations. He was born in Müllheim, Germany, in 1957. After completing his A-levels in Einsiedeln, Switzerland, he studied Political Science and Modern History at the Universities of Münster and Freiburg im Breisgau. He then worked as a professional journalist and ran the press office of the Archdiocese of Freiburg im Breisgau. At the same time, he explored topics related to public relations, communication and organisational culture.
Since the late 1990s, he has devoted himself to consultancy and management training for large companies and has developed training programmes for small and medium-sized enterprises, which led to the establishment of the Scuola d’Impresa, which merged with the Cdo Academy in 2015.
He served as president of the Compagnia delle Opere from 2008 until January 2020. A member of the board of directors of the Fondazione Meeting since 2008, he has moderated numerous sessions across various editions of the event on the economy, welfare and technological innovation, exploring their foundations and cultural, social and anthropological implications.
