She was born in Bassano del Grappa (VI) on June 22, 1972, and she was elected at the Veneto Regional Council in 2000. Part of the agriculture committees and Culture in the seventh legislature.
In 2005 she became Regional Councillor with refereed for Education, Training, Employment, Hunting, civil protection, consumer protection, food safety, veterinary services.
In 2006 she was elected to the Chamber of Deputies and resigned on 28 April 2006 for incompatibility with the office of regional councilor.
In 2010 she was re-elected in the Regional Council and was appointed Minister of Education, Training, Employment (since October 2014 even with responsibility for Transportation) in the Giunta of Zaia.
Re-elected in the elections of May 31, 2015 in the Veneto Regional Council she has reconfirmed Councillor, keeping these powers the previous legislature with the addition of Equal Opportunity.
