The colours of adventure
‘This exhibition organized by Maria Chiara Baldasseroni, Franco Cardini and by the Department of ENEC Studies and Researches, treats of ‘The Crusades and the Frankish Kingdom of Jerusalem’. Texts and pictures. representing frescoes, miniatures and basrelieves of the eleventh-fourteenth centuries, lead visitors into the human and religious adventure of the ‘cruce signati’ men (that is men marked by the Cross). This adventure hasn’t been completely understood and considered by a sort of short-sighted culture, full of prejudices. ‘An Armed Pilgrimage” is the main topic of the exhibition.’
