Francesco Rampini

Francesco Rampini, nato a Mestre il 26 marzo 1967, dopo gli studi in ingegneria civile all’Università di Padova, nel 1999 inizia a lavorare presso EIE group, una società di ingegneria con sede a Mestre specializzata nella progettazione, produzione, costruzione e test di grandi strumenti nei settori dell’Astronomia, dell’Astrofisica e della Grande Scienza Responsabile della divisione calcolo.  Nel 2009 diventa Head of Engineering and Design Department.

• 1996-1999: VLT Telescope (Very Large Telescope)
• 2002-2003: VST Project (VLT Survay Telescope)
• 2004-2015: VISTA Project: team project responsible
• 1999-2013: ALMA Project (Atacama Large Millimeter Array)
• 2007-2008: Antenna Normandie for Arianne tracking.
• 1999-2013: ALMA Project (Atacama Large Millimeter Array)
• 2012-2015: SKA Dish Array (Square Kilometer Array)
• 2008-2018: MRO Dome (Magdalena Ridge Observatory)
• 2013-2018: LSST project (Large Sinoptic Survay Telescope)
• 2013-2018: CTA-Astri telescope (cherenkov Telescope Array)
• 2015-2018: DAG project (Turkish 4 meter Telescope)
• 2007-2018: ELT Project (Extremly Large Telescope)
