Kasatkina Tat’jana Aleksandrovna

Born in Moscow in 1963, she is a philosopher, literary critic, writer and expert of culturology. Specializing in religious studies, she is currently a leading expert of the work of F.M. Dostoevsky. She is a member of several associations of scholars of Dostoevsky both from Russian and international, she is author of five books and more than two hundred and fifty scientific papers.
• In 1986 she graduated in philology at the Moscow State Pedagogical University.
• In 1992 she received the first-level PhD at the Institute of World Literature of the Academy of Sciences Russian with a dissertation entitled: “The types of orientation of values in the work of F.M. Dostoevsky “.
• Since 1996 she writes for the magazine Novyj mir.
• Since 1999, she organizes and directs the student conference “The reception of the works of F.M. Dostoevsky in the XXI Century” that held actually in the city of Staraya Russa.
• In 2000, she received her second-level PhD at the Institute of World Literature of the Academy of Sciences Russian with a dissertation entitled: “The artistic reality of the word: the ontology of the word in the work of F.M. Dostoevsky as a supreme realism foundation. ”
• Since 2000 she works permanently at the Institute of World Literature, Russian Science Academy.
• In 2001 she founded the “Commission for the study of the work of F.M. Dostoevsky “of which she is still in charge.
• From 2001 to today she held courses of culture, religion, art and literature at various universities in Moscow and she participated in conferences on philosophical and literary themes, and in particular of Dostoevsky in the whole Russia and abroad.
• Since 2009 she directed the department of “Literary Theory” at the Institute of World Literature, Russian Science Academy.
• She has published in Italian “Dal Paradiso all’inferno, i confini dell’umano in Dostoevskij”, Itaca edizioni 2012; “Dostoevskij. Il sacro nel profano”, Rizzoli 2012; “È Cristo che vive in te”, Itaca edizioni 2012.
• Outgoing (July 2016) for the book publisher La Scuola the volume “F. M. Dostoevskij – Scritti dal Sottosuolo, Maša è distesa sul tavolo, Socialismo e cristianesimo – T. Kasatkina – Gli Scritti dal sottosuolo come testo cristiano”
