Colombo Gherardo

Gherardo Colombo for over thirty years has been the magistrate at the Tribunal, the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Milan and the Court of Cassation, contributing to some well-known inquiries, from P2 Loggia to Clean Hands, from lawyer Ambrosoli’s Murder to the Imi- Sir.

In 2007 he left the judiciary. Since then, with the help of the “Sulleregole” Association, founded with some friends in 2010 and backed by the Pasquinelli Foundation, he dedicated himself to reflection on public justice and education to legality. In this activity, he meets up with 250,000 students every year throughout Italy and he has received the “Culture of Peace 2008” National Prize for this activity.

He is Chairman of the Garzanti Libri. From July 2012 to August 2015 he has been a member of RAI’s Board of Directors. From July 2016 he is Coordinator of the Committee on Legality of the City of Milan and is a member of the Ethics Committee of the Veronesi Foundation, of the Advisory Board of Transparency International and of the board of the Roberto Franceschi Foundation.
