EMMANUEL MASSAGLI from 2012 is President of ADAPT, Association for International and Comparative Studies on Labor Law and Industrial Relations founded by Prof. Marco Biagi in 2000.

He is a contract professor of “Pedagogy of work” and “Welfare of the person” at the University of Bergamo.

From 2009 to 2011 he coordinated the Technical Secretariat of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies and he was Direct Consultant to the Minister on issues of Youth Training and Industrial Relations.

Since January 2017 he has been the founder and first president of AIWA, the Italian Welfare Association, an association representing the first operators in the field of corporate welfare services.

From July 2015 he is Chairman of ANSEB, National Association of Emitters Vouchers. He is a member of the FIPE-Confcommercio Steering Committee and the Presidency Board.

From 2010 to 2015 he has been the director of ENPAM (National Institute of Social Security and Medical Assistance). He is co-director of the magazine Professionality, edited by La Scuola di Brescia. He is co-director of the Adapt – Marco Biagi Centre Study (Giuffrè) magazine, editor of the magazine Industrial Relations Law, freelancer of Nuova Secondaria (edited by La Scuola), a member of the Scientific Committee of the Training, Person, Work (University of Bergamo). He collaborates with several newspapers and periodicals.

The topics of particular interest and areas of scientific specialization are: benefit and contract work, business welfare, education economy, job economy, professional training, apprenticeship and job alternation, industrial relations, history of industrial relations.
