Carlo Pelanda is Professor of Economics and Director of the Ph.D. Program in “Geopolitical Economy” at the Guglielmo Marconi University, Rome, Italy; Adjunct Professor of Global Studies and Co-Director of GLOBIS (The Centre for the Study of Global Issues) at the University of Georgia, Athens, USA and a member of the Academic and Advisory Board of the Oxford Institute for Economic Policy (OXONIA), Oxford, UK.
Prof. Pelanda has been a Scientific Adviser to the Secretary – General of the United Nations (1988-90), Adviser to the President of the Italian Republic (1990-91) and to several Italian governments (1993, 1994, 2001-2006) and a consultant for strategic analysis to multiple international financial and industrial groups.
