Parolini Mauro

The first of six brothers, he was born on May 17th, 1958 at Desenzano del Garda, where he lives with his wife and three daughters. He graduated from the High School of Desenzano Bagatta and later obtained a degree in Civil Engineering at the Politecnico of Milan. He has taught at the Institute topography “Battisti” of Salò. He is a freelance engineer.
From 1995 to 1999 he was a provincial councilor in the Province of Brescia, since 1999 commissioner of Public Works, for Traffic, Building Trade School and Public Education.
In 2004 and 2009 he was re-elected councilor, with responsibility for Public Works and Roads system. In 2000, he has introduced, first in Italy, the good school to support families.
He also involved the social cooperation in Brescia regarding the management of roads and schools. He was involved in the road and motorway network in Brescia, of over 2000 km, promoting the adaptation with great attention in order to reduce the accidents.
A clear overview of the problems and objectives and daily work are the characteristics of his commitment to help the economy of Lombardy Region to grow more easily.
In 2010 he runs for the Regional Council of Lombardy, and he is the most voted in the Province of Brescia with 19,087 votes. In 2013 he was re-elected regional councilor.
In 2014 the president of the Lombardy Region appointed him as Councillor for Commerce, Tourism and Tertiary, and in 2015 Deputy Mayor for Economic Development.
