Rimini Mayor since June 2011, and since 2014 President Of Rimini Province. He is the delegate to Tourism and Maritime State Property in behalf of ANCI (National Association of Italian Municipalities) and President of Destinazione Romagna, system provided by regional law on touristic sorting, devised to develop promotion and enhancement initiatives for territories and support promo-commercial actions carried out by private operators.
He is implementing a public projects program and of touristic promotion thanks to a strategic vision targeted to next 10 years, fueled by substantial investments into interventions in town renewal, to make it attractive not only in summer season but also during the whole year.
