De Biasi Emilia

Senator from the last election, she is Chairman of the Senate’s Hygiene and Health Commission. From 2006 to 2013 she was elected to the Chamber of Deputies where she held positions in the Presidential Secretariat, she was a member of the Culture Commission and in the Fifth legislature of the Rai Supervisory Committee. Born on February 6, 1958 in San Severo, in the province of Foggia, she practically lived in Milan where she now resides. In 1989 she lived and shared the turn of “Bolognina” by Achille Occhetto after the fall of the Berlin Wall. She has been part of the Commission that has drafted the Founding Manifesto of the values of the Democratic Party. Participant to Areadem which supported Matteo Renzi’s candidacy for party secretary. She is a member of the National Assembly of the Democratic Party and of the Milanese and Lombardy Region management. Among the issues that have been interested her so far there were the presidency of the Health Committee related to gambling, the Stamina method with a cognitive investigation carried out in the Commission, which was approved the first national law on Autism and the Dl on vaccine prevention has recently been discussed in the Commission.
