Since 2005, he worked at the Allianz Foundation UMANA MENTE which holds the position of General Secretary since 2008. Since its creation the Foundation has allocated over € 32 million supporting over 42 thousand people in distress throughout the national territory. Corti is the contact person for Italy Allianz Foundation Network, which unites all the Grant Making Foundations of the Allianz Group in Europe, Asia and the United States.
He is the Managing Director of the Fondazione Italia per il dono onlus (F.I.Do) (Italian Foundation for Gift) the new Italian non-profit, which in subsidiary manner provides brokerage philanthropic services at national and international level.
He is National Councillor and Member of the National Executive Committee of Assifero, the Italian Association of foundations and institutional philanthropy organizations which contains one hundred among corporate foundations, of family and community.
He teaches at the Master in Fund Raising for Nonprofit and Public Bodies at the University of Bologna – Alma Mater Studiorum – Forlì with a module entitled: “Foundations and Institutions – As you work with grant-making foundation”.
He graduated with honors in Political Science at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, he also holds a Master in Public Governance (Department of Mathematics and Statistics – University of Naples Federico II in partnership with the Foundation for Subsidiarity).
His professional engagement is started within the exhibition as a project manager, marketing and commercial sector. Developed an interest in the nonprofit sector, as a result of some personal experiences of volunteering both in Italy and abroad, he has become increasingly interested in the world of foundations and grant-making bodies and existing links between profit and non-profit world, showing a strong sensitivity to the development and promotion of the culture of giving and institutional philanthropy.
