The Rimini Meeting. 30 years of dialogue.For the first time in AmericaOn the occasion of the 30th edition, the Rimini Meeting will be presented for the first time in the United States, in collaboration with Crossroads Cultural Center. On the 3rd of June, at 6.00 pm, the Italian Embassy in Washington DC will host American guests from previous meetings: Justice Samuel Alito, U.S. Supreme Court, Martha-Ann Alito, Mary Ann Glendon, Learned Hand Professor of Law at Harward Law School, Paolo Carozza, Associate Professor of Law School and Commissioner for the Inter-American Commissioner on Human Rights, Joseph H.H . Weiler, Jean Monnet Chair, NYU School of Law, Jane Milosch, Senior Program Officer for Art at Smithsonian Institution, Lorenzo Albacete, theologian and author and strong>Marco Aluigi, Congress Manager Meeting for Friendship among People Foundation.
During the presentation the speakers will reflect on the significance of the Meeting and, at the same time, will offer the opportunity for a taste of the 2009 Meeting, considered the biggest cultural event in Europe, unique in its kind, as the figures show: 400 exhibitions, 3000 encounters, more than 500 shoes, 5000 guests and 850 journalists accredited to the last edition.
