‘A special place within the Meeting has been reserved this year for the great master of cinema and friend who died recently. Several unpublished photos of Tarkovskij, and works of art dedicated to him by Russian and European artists will be exhibited. First-time pic-tures taken from the filmmaker’s work and life will also be screened. This tribute has been made possible thanks to the precious co-operation of Tarkovskij’s wife, Larisa and Natan Fedorowskij.’
